Pretty much the first game to ever appear on Twin Skies, The Very Hungry Junkworm is a remake of the classic game “Snake”. In the first ever guide to appear on Twin Skies Planet, Max VelDink takes you through how to kick total butt in this game.
Introduction
The first mini-game released on Twin Skies, it resembles the old game Snake a lot. To play it, head on over to this location.
Flavor Text from Twin Skies:
Deep within the Elevere Forest is a place known as The Dump. An enterprising hedgehog-like race known as the Furze make their living here, picking up the things that the elves way up in Canopy City throw away.
These junk fields are home to many interesting creatures, including the Junkworms. These spirits, animated by the will of the forest, want nothing more than to devour as much rubbish as possible to become strong and healthy.
In The Very Hungry Junkworm you must use the arrow keys to control a Junkworm - pick up the pieces of rubbish to grow, but be careful not to run into your tail, or hit the wall. Gems will give you extra points but watch out - they won’t last long before somebody else finds them.
Instructions:
Using the left, right, up, and down arrow keys, (or you could use the w, a, s, d keys) navigate your Junkworm through the junkyard, collecting any food item (garbage) that you find while also collecting jewels for extra points. Avoid the walls and hitting your own tail of garbage, or else you will end the game.
Point Values of the Garbage and Jewels:

Relation to Twin Skies
This is speculation as of right now, but it is confirmed by the Twin Skies staff that if you score a certain amount of points, then it will create a junkworm in the main game. When this happens, the junkworm finds a low level player, a n00b, and kills them, taking a screenshot for you to post on your character’s profile on their website. It’s all so hilarious, but it’ll be fun to see how it actually plays out.
Fun Facts
- The first game to be made on Twin Skies, The Very Hungry Junkworm closely resembles Meerca Chase, one of the first games to appear on Neopets, the previous website created by Adam and Donna.
- The Fish Bones are a reference to the Fish Negg in Meerca Chase, which gave you an insanely high amount of points.
