I am psion… hear me roar.
The next human class, the psion, has been revealed on Twin Skies. As the name suggests, psions have psychic ability and will totally kick your butt Professor Xavier style.
There’s an old saying that true strength comes from inside you, but the human class of psions take that quite literally. Trained in the art of meditation and focus, a psion wades into battle armed with a staff and a whole arsenal of psychic powers. It’s also customary to adorn themselves with special tattoos that serve to augment their abilities.
The psion is a ranged and deadly class, capable of using nothing but the power of their mind to confuse their foes, lash out with psychic energies, or tap their allies’ subconscious to bring them to a higher potential in combat.
The time they spend in meditation tends to make Psions a quiet, introspective sort. The time they spend studying to further their skills in cloistered monasteries certainly doesn’t help their image as mysterious, withdrawn figures. A lone Psion is dangerous enough, but give them a group of friends whose abilities they can enhance, and all bets are off.
