Rustwood, home town of Farina an the scary Rusting Skeletons, is now released on Twin Skies.
The Rustwood is a place of mystery in the human controlled lands. Despite its close proximity to Shoal and Four Farms, only a handful of people actually live inside the Rustwood. For you see, the “Rustwood” is more than just a descriptor of the gorgeous red and orange trees that fill the forest. The trees contain a magical property which serves to instantly rust any metallic object that crosses the twin rivers that border the forest; even if the metal is incapable of rusting by normal means! Swords dull instantly. Gold coins crumble at a touch. Carts that rely on metallic screws and nails fall apart when they hit the slightest bump.
Even if there was an axe capable of withstanding the rusting effects of the dreaded Rustwood tree, the trees themselves are impervious to any and all efforts made thus far to chop them down, making them some of the most powerful trees found outside the enchanted Elevere Forest far to the north.
The few occupants that remain inside the Rustwood get by using tools made of wood and stone, and some have even made their own non-metallic currency! Of course, almost no one outside of the forest accepts this currency, so best do all your Rustwood shopping in the Rustwood.
